From November 27th to 28th, 2024, the 5th Council of the 4th China Cableway Association and the Cableway Technology Forum were held in Guilin. The conference was hosted by China Cableway Association, co-organized by Tianjin Ningfa Group Co., Ltd. and Shaanxi Junjing Cableway Investment and Construction Co., Ltd., and attended by more than 600 industry representatives from more than 400 companies across the country, including more than 60 representatives from 14 enterprises in Shaanxi.

     Zhang Yonghong, chairman of Shaanxi Passenger Cableway Recreation Facilities Association, Yang Xinming, Tong Wei, Zhang Hongzhan, Liu Quanyou, Liang Liangkui, Wu Bin and Pei Yan, vice chairmen, and Zhou Yi, secretary general, attended the meeting. The principals and business backbones of Shaanxi Niubeiliang Cableway Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Junjing Cableway Operation Management Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Zhuque Cableway Co., Ltd. and Shaanxi Yanchuan Gankunwan Junjing Cableway Co., Ltd. also attended the meeting.

    Former the State Council Counselor Zhang Gang, Chairman of China National Cableway Association Wang Shuhe, Chairman of China Cableway Association Zhang Tonggang, Secretary General of China Cableway Association Huang Pengzhi, Deputy Secretary General of China Cableway Association Lin Hongda, Chairman of China Cableway Association Zhen Zhengyi, former Director of Special Equipment Bureau of State Administration of Market Supervision Cui Gang, Director of Special Equipment Bureau of State Administration of Market Supervision Xia Yong and leaders of relevant departments of Guangxi Province attended the meeting.

     At the meeting, Li Xiangcheng, assistant general manager of Shaanxi Junjing Cableway Investment and Construction Co., Ltd., director of Cableway Science and Technology Innovation Center, and general manager of Cableway Technology R&D Division of Shaanxi Junjing Cableway Operation and Management Co., Ltd. gave a talk entitled "Exploration and Application of Intelligent Inspection Technology for Cableway UAV", which became a highlight of this meeting. With its high efficiency and convenience, this technology has attracted wide attention and strong interest of the participants. Everyone has said that UAV inspection technology is expected to bring revolutionary changes to the maintenance and management of ropeway lines.

     On the afternoon of November 28th, a total of more than 600 guests and representatives of the annual cableway meeting gathered in the Ruyifeng Scenic Area of Yangshuo, where they conducted on-site exchange activities on the maintenance technology of the Ruyifeng cableway, took a ride on the Ruyifeng cableway, and observed the drills of unmanned aerial vehicles in the inspection and maintenance of the cableway. Among them, the patrol drill of unmanned aerial vehicle cableway intuitively showed the intelligent upgrade results of cableway line inspection, which won high praise and affirmation from the delegates.

     The successful convening of this conference has set up an effective communication platform for all units and representatives of the ropeway industry, enabling them to communicate and learn from each other in depth and jointly promote the development and cooperation of the ropeway industry. As a professional organization in the industry, Shaanxi Passenger Cableway Recreation Facilities Association will give full play to its own advantages and provide strong support for the development of China ropeway industry with its profound professional knowledge and keen insight into the industry dynamics.
